The Ellen MacArthur Foundation at Salters' Hall

Create Food and Party Design hosted an evening of passion and inspiration when they welcomed the Ellen MacArthur Foundation at Salters' Hall.

As an independent charity, The Ellen MacArthur Foundation's sole purpose is to inspire people to think, re–think and re–design to help build a positive future. Working closely with a number of organisations such as Renault, University of Manchester, Cisco and the National Grid – their key objectives are to provide a framework for change through education and communication.

The Main Hall was transformed into a stunning setting for the event, draped in luxurious deep purple setting of the red livery colours with autumnal table centre pieces. 90 guests attended the evening from various backgrounds, from students to CEO's to top City companies who enjoyed a meal of pan–fried mackerel, stuffed partridge breast and a delicious pear and bitter chocolate tart selected from create's autumn/winter menu selections.

Dinner was preceded by emotive presentations, firstly from Ellen herself and Jamie Butterworth (CEO) and continued with James Rainey from Rainey Endowed School in Northern Ireland and Laura Nucinkis from Brockenhurst College.
